Neshad is a member of this website if you want to reach out to him. I showed Neshad the poster in Laotian Philakone Khounphon is creating. Neshad was keen to create on for Kosova to share at all th…

The Rotary International Convention officially opened today. The foot traffic at the project exhibit booths is heavier than yesterday. Since our booth has one of the few $100 laptops, also known as the One-Laptop-Per-Child or OLPC that was developed at MIT. Several people are stopping by to touch it – the OLPC definitely draws people in to start a conversation. I just talked to Harriet Downer (Denver, CO) who has been monitoring the OLPC for the last two years and was commenting that their blog…

It was great to see Mike Ericksen, District Governor for 6440, and his wife Cheryl stopped by our booth and I met more DG’s today then I’ve met in the last two years since I joined Rotary. The day was full of learning amazing projects that are helping people in need around the world. It wasn’t until 3 pm that I figured out that the convention doesn’t officially start until Tomorrow. So the crowds today were much smaller than will be jamming floor tomorrow. Our booth is located in the south tower…
