- I am the Director of Communcations and Outreach at e-Learming for Kids.
- Special skills I want to use helping e-learning for Kids
- My communication and networking skills, as well as my 20+ years of experience in the Learning field, in order to ensure that the right message is delivered across any medium to our varied audiences. Also to reach out on an ongoing basis to new and current partners in order to further spread the word about our foundation in order to reach more children, parents and teachers around the world.

- In addition to my volunteer work at e-Learning for Kids (and for the American Society of Training and Development), I am a learning and training consultant with over 20 years of experience in planning, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating blended solutions. Prior to this, I was a Training Management Specialist at Florida Power and Light, one of the largest electric utilities in the US.
I live in Miami, Florida, speak Spanish, and love art, music, film and traveling among many other interests.

I just looked at courses in Spanish and I liked them a lot. Obviously, there are many courses that still have to be translated, but what you already have looks good to me. I did notice that in some instances the word niños was misspelled. First, on the menu on the left, and also when you click on any of the courses. The problem is that instead of niños, you have ninos.
Also, I think it would be a great idea to design courses for the Spanish heritage language learners as their linguistic needs are completely different than the needs of ESL and EFL students. I think, it would be great if, in the future, we could design a Spanish language course for heritage speakers. In case you ever need help with bilingual education please let me know. My MA degree is in Instructional Design with the concentration on Teaching English as a Second Language/Bilingual Education.
I also think that it would be great if we could design a Spanish course for American children where they would be able to learn basics of the Spanish language.
Please let me know what you think about these ideas? Are there major obstacles that would prevent us from designing any of these courses (I understand that funding is one of them).
